Northern Lights in Northern Minnesota

On the evening of November 3rd, we had a strong burst of aurora activity. NOAA\’s Space Weather Prediction Center had marked the impact of a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from a solar flare. For most of the evening we had a lower green aurora arc that would pull into what you see and then quiet back down before ultimately filling the sky with color in the early morning hours.
